Ignernt (two syllables) is a whole 'nother level of not knowing something, it means willfully and stubbornly denying the truth that's right in front of your eyes, and being proud of it. I've never in this thread put down on Obama's many CZARSI only talked about Van Jones and Mark Lloyd, radicals who have a known reputation, pretty sure I saw it on CNN. Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin joined the anti-czar chorus Wednesday, asking Obama to detail the roles and responsibilities of all of the czars in his administration and to explain why he believes the use of czars is consistent with the Senate’s constitutional power to offer advice and consent on top-level executive branch officials.“To the extent that this undercuts that role and people are put in the place of Cabinet people and really are the key authorities and you can’t question them, that’s something worth talking about,” Feingold said. “I think it’s a fair point.”Feingold says he doesn’t know if there are any constitutional violations, but he suggested that he may hold an oversight hearing on the matter.Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/09 ... sKADhRGSen. Dianne Feinstein said in an interview Wednesday that there needs to be better Senate oversight, although she was quick to add that some czar critics have incorrectly labeled a number of Senate-confirmed administration officials as White House czars.“If you look over certain people [who] have real titles and real authority, I don’t think it’s quite fair to call, for example, David Hayes at the Department of Interior a czar,” the California Democrat said. “He’s the deputy secretary of the Department of Interior, and he’s got real authority.”Feinstein said she thinks it’s a “problem” when the White House appoints someone to a czar position that is not clearly defined. “I don’t know what a car czar does, for example,” she said.Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.) — a fierce defender of congressional authority — argued in a letter last February that the czars may upset checks and balances in the federal government.Van Jones, Obama’s green jobs czar, resigned earlier this month amid conservative outcry over his association with the Sept. 11 “truther” movementRead more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/09 ... believable, a TRUTHER in O's administration! THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPERTwo Different Versions! ................. Two Different Morals!OLD VERSION: The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold. MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!======================================================================= MODERN VERSION:The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying upsupplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the antshould be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to avideo of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned bythe sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to sufferso?Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It'sNot Easy Being Green.'Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant 's house where the news stations film the groupsinging, 'We shall overcome.'Rev. Jeremiah Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten richoff the backof the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fairshare. Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginningof the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothingleft to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar. The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ants food while thegovernment house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around himbecause he doesn't maintain it.The ant has disappeared in the snow. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is takenover by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010."In God We Trust"

Dear Forum Folks,We’ve been keeping a close eye on this, and one other “Political” thread, and have decided to lock them from further posts. Our Forum Rules state, “Absolutely NO Political or Religious debates on these forums.” We're big fans of free speech and we make exceptions as long as things remain friendly. When they start becoming unfriendly, we lock them down. We'll keep what has been posted so far, but let's put these threads to rest to keep everybody smiling and focused on music related issues here. There are plenty of religious and political forums where you can actively partake in those discussions. We appreciate your understanding.  The TAXI Forum Mods

hi folks,
why would you people who are all here for music go down this road
of politics. no one is going to change the others views. you have either been brainwashed
over years of indoctrination from your parents, teachers and possible unveiled threats
of bosses who control your jobs to vote the way you do.
The bottom line is this is America and whenever one side is getting too big for their britches
somehow the people across this great land and the constitutional law seems to make things
come out the right way. As of right now if the polls are correct it seems 70% of the people are going to make a change come november. If the voting is done honestly and not manipulated
then the people will have spoken which is the way the constitution was fashioned in order to keep stability. We didn't become the greatest country and the most benevolent to the rest of the world when we could have ruled with an isolationist iron fist and stayed way on top.
When people who want to rule not in the way of the constitution for their own greed and
power it's like telling the other team when it is their turn to bat "you can only have two outs per inning and we get three." Cheaters who have to win at all cost can not in my opinion actually take pride in winning like this unless you were taught it's ok to lie and be dishonest.
Hey guys and gals do your music and leave the politics to the bums they are.
All you can do is vote for who you think is best. But don't do it dishonestly.
