Hi Warren, Well I found this very interesting and I'm sure that it could be used for many things - it just might be a bit too "UFO"ish for CSI... I dunno?!Great fun stuff - do some more you guys - we can name a genre after your work!I think you did this on another thread somewhere - your genre is "HeinRest"Georgie

I can see this piece being played as someone walks into a smoke filled room full of drug users or a club scene. It has a sense of danger but also a little bit of wonder............I'm not sure if this sounded like a compliment or not but it was one.............just trying to put the song with a scene........

thanks georgie and mac--yeah, when i had to describe it to one library that's kinds what i said--"electro rave" and a bit on the exotic side...thanks for the listen guys (gals....) and yes, orest is one talented dude!whps: georgie i did post MY version of this here uh uh, about a year maybe 2 ago. it's actually not too much different, except mine has no production quality at all, it took me 20 minutes to figure out the notes on my keys, and another week to figure out the other ones for the other parts, and Orest is a real musician/producer with very good ears who knows how to bring out the good and leave out the bad.....true.

Hey Warren and Alexander, I have absolutely no qualifications in the genre to judge this (whatever genre it is?!) but I think the "Arabian nights meets Rave night" is a perfect description! The synths do sound very 80s (or maybe even 70s) but it seems to me like it could be cool in a retro sort of way for the right scene.Cam

thanks cam--of course, i totally agree with you! i don't personally hear the synth in any particular era, it's just music, but i'll trust your ears, and some of the other comments. i thinkl (duh, i hope...) this will find a home, (los bibliotecas (sp) like it so far...thanks for listening my friend, warren
