Warren, i like it even though I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I can't even begin to stick this into a genre. How are you gonna handle that when you get it signed to a library? Hey, come to think of it I happen to know a library that has Warren Hein listed as an ala artist . . . perfect!

Hey Warren, Good to see you steering into different territory. One word comes to mind. Quirky. I would have preferred the percussion to start at 0:00 along with the guitar/synth..I think sometimes the timing of the beginning section wanders a little too..Not dance/electronica but as you grouped it under electronica/experimental.....yea, I can see that...Interesting piece you guys....Derek

i'm laughing here billy--hell, i just plugged it into 2 libraries, and had one helluva time describing it myself--came up with "Arabian nights meets Rave night!" actually, i can hear this on a suspense thing like CSI and the like...hell, as i said when i threw it out a year ago, it took me longer to crap ass produce it than to write it! and to figure out the piano/synth notes! LOL...unfortunately true.and Alexander took it and spiced the hell outta it, and i'm no longer a quirky songwriter--but LOL a quirky "different territory" guy.thanks for the listen Derek--wellllll, since Orest followed what i gave him, i thought the build/perc was coolest when it did come in, but my original/original WAY back there had it starting as a bizarre heavy drum piece....with nothing else...then moving into the arabian music thing, as it is now...so hell Derek, you reading minds?anyway, thanks guys, i am writing a new folk/SS tune now, so i aint straying too far into the rhelm of quirky--FROM quirky...truly thanks for the words, warren

Warren,Cool departure for you. I'm definitely not the expert, but I would have expected to hear more aggressive percussion and a less '80s-ish synth sound for the lead. Maybe Kel or somebody else can comment, cuz what do I know?Vince

Well, I used Sculpture, Kore2, EZdrummer, Logic drum kits and a lot of effects in Logic for this one. I usually don't do this genre, but it has been a fun ride! (What genre this might be..)

...and i'm VERY GLAD you took that ride Alexander my friend, and thanks for telling them what you used! certainly better than my orig Roland 70 and Boss machine--and i like Kel's description,"Exotic UFO desert middle eastern trippy", i think that nails it. the libraries ask with them bubble things to fill out the "mood" and i think i chose middle east, arabic, agressive, playful, dance rave and of course electronica...hmmmm, sure i forgot a few...all the best, warren
