hey wta, thanks man. As far as the drums, I'm using Superior 2.0, which alternates between something like 20 different hits on every drum to avoid any machine gunning. That's not always enough, though, so I do always go in and tweak the velocities. This song is all pretty much at one dynamic by nature, but to me it sounds pretty natural for this style.I'll definitely keep listening for that though, thanks man!

My pleasure mate. It's just in the fills that I'm hearing it and the rest sounds very natural to my ears or to say I didn't hear anything out of place except the fills and I should have better defined what I was saying so sorry bout dat... Cheers, '-) wta

No worries man thanks again. I definitely tweaked the velocity in the fills (more than the rest of it even, actually, which is funny ), but I'll check it out again!

I agree, I get my greatest kicks from heavy rock stuff. I'm not a metal, screamo or punk guy but rock and heavier rock are where I live. I do do acoustic stuff also. I really don't produce much else as mastering rock and acoustic stuff is my goal but I LOVE ambient as well so I combine the two from time to time like a modern Pink Floyd without the keys...

Dan.This tune is rockin. Big guitars and great production, I'm listening through my crappy headphones, gonna hafta put it up on my monitors and have a better listen. Awesome performance on the guitars, well written, and concise. My only complaint is it's too short, unless it's a short edit to begin with. Good luck with the listing, the song is bang on as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Daniel....Great track.... sounds on target to me......My only comment is the kick/snare sound a little thin for me..... but that could be a genre thing... I still love those big wet 80's snares so 'nough said!!!Good Luck!!!Peace, Geo
