First, congrats!! That is a very hard contest to win... MANY thousands of entries. Credits on your bio, of any (reasonable) kind, are very valuable. Hopefully you will be mailing demos out to publishers and music libraries on your own and putting a brief bio in there that shows accomplishments can peak interest. Even if you are sending mp3 demos, there should be a link to your website which lists your accomplishments.Recently I had a few TV placements. Whenever I submit a demo, on-line or by snail mail, I mention the placements. Some taxi listings also ask for bios so you should have a bio that serves you well.As an aside, I sometimes get upset when I mention recent placements to some people who ask "how much money" with the implication that (short term) money is the only value. I expect that the added items on my bio will open up a few more doors for me. The same goes for licensing music for indie films for little or no money. I've seen people with zero credits thumb their noses at that. Successes can bring more successes. Ya gotta think that way... Once again, that's an amazing accomplishment! Casey
