I think it might be Hendrix for me just because I'm so pissed that I never saw him perform when I had the chance. As a note of interest (maybe) . . . years ago when my band was on the road we would play dumb games to pass the time. One of the big ones was the "do you remember _______" game. I mentioned watching Hendrix perform as houseband guitarist every week on a syndicated late night local show out of somewhere in Tenn. Of course everyone told me I had to be nuts etc. Well, check it out. It seems this is the only surviving clip of the show with Hendrix -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaIxswG7 ... re=related

It has come to this: All the Jimi Hendrix fans stand over here, and all the John Lennon, etc. fans please stand over there. My life seems strangely more complete after watching that clip billg. I guess the other rocker I would most like to bring back to life would be me. Ha-Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Thanks!Al 35 Years Ago

I would have to say Elliott Smith. I saw him right before he got big and I didn't stay through the whole show because I didn't know the songs and he couldn't remember how to play them. The crowd loved it though.
