Re: Just a request.
Don't know if this is a problem or not. But, I could NOT drag myself out of bed yesterday, Wednesday. Went to bed about 12:30 am and didn't get up 'til my wife was leaving for work at 2:30 pm. Needed her help to get up then. Went out to the couch and slept most of the time away 'til she got home at 11:30 pm, then slept 'til 10:30 am, again. So, out of 34 hours, I may have been awake for four. I've never slept like that before. Reckon, to this extent, I'm still payin' for the radiation? Whew!! And I don't feel very rested. Hmm.

Charlotte, NC. Not the city of our dreams. But, we just got back from seeing Kristine's twin sister married off. Other than being really tired, I actually felt pretty good while we were there. Think the increased pollution level helped?!!

Walter,Thinking about you today. I know Dan is someone you admire a hellava lot, so much so, that you used his name no less than 138 times when you first joined taxi. The one time you didn't... you wrote something along the lines of: I wont say who but it rhymes with Ogelberg. I'm not exactly sure of the word, but I do remember how it made me smile. All the best, Randy

Re: Just a request.
To my Taxi "Friend": Thank you. We got your gift Christmas Eve. You guys continue to blow me away.Yeah. I'm back, now. Had a nasty last three or four days. Took enough meds home with me to get through Thursday, the day before I was supposed to return. Well, my wonderful sister and bro-in-law got an extra ticket to the Tran-Siberian Express concert for Sunday night. Course, I wanted to go.SO!!, Thursday I ran out of Klonopin and my Duragesic patches. I tried substituting Mirapex for the Klonopin...BAD idea. By Friday afternoon I felt horrible. I couldn't even smell food w/out it turning my stomach in circles. I had a miserable anxiety attack w claustrophobia and wierd thoughts. My legs were absolutely excruciating. Then I started having periods of uncontrollable crying and had a hard time hiding from folks. They're worried enough about me. By Sunday, all I wanted to do was get back to my wife (My security blanket ). Needless to say, I missed the show.My wife checked her med books, and it seems likely that I needed to wean myself off of Klonopin before switching to the other med. Soon as we got back here, I put a patch on and took 1/2 a Klonopin (Took the other 1/2 at bedtime). Within two hours, I was improving. By Monday night, I felt good enough to go to the 11:00 Christmas Eve service and have a wonderful time with wifey when we got home. She got me the most beautiful card...another crying episode .Y'all have all been such wonderful friends and a support system. The way you checked in on me touches my heart. I'm a very blessed man.
