I wonder if it was during the outage on Sunday?Because I certainly didn't remove it, in fact I don't know what you said.

ah it was a horror story about n/i and my liscences and all sorts of badness that it still doesnt work right, long story, but i kept the profanity and stuff out of it. hmm, oh welli wont repost just incase, but to sum it up, about 1 in 100 native instruments users, are ready to kill them because of the security stopping stuff from working right, i am one of these

I know one person who had problems, but I also know at least 99 others who rely on Kontakt day in and out. There's a whole subcult of people into writing scripts for it...if you know about that. It's a very powerful sampler, and NI's stuff is really good, but it's no fun having problems with the copy protection. I never have, thank goodness, because I rely on K2.

I should add that the one person is a friend of mine, and they were very good about sorting him out - it wasn't like they wouldn't talk to him.

oh nah, i said theres really no comparitive alternative, but i mean I called, I even offered to send them the actual boxes with all the documentation and stuff in exchange for the exact same copies, and the guy on the phone implied id stolen the software twice, we are talking ewql symphony platinum and xp, collosus, komplete 4, and kontakt 3, and they basicly told me I would have to buy new copies, which is patently ridiculousI really hope mine is a worst case scenario, but I am still running having to reload kontakt 3 every 30 minutes because of this, and they will not issue new codes for my validation or anything, took extraordinary means just to get them usable at allyou are right though, there isnt an option b, not a true one

Wow! I can't believe what you 2 are goin' through. I didn't have any problems whatsoever. That's pretty strange. Some defective copies must've gotten run off & packaged or somethin'. What happened to quality control?I-468
