I signed up when I got the email and got a confirmation screen saying an email would be sent within one business day confirming if I got a spot. I haven't received anything yet. Do you think the spots were filled that quick or that they're still working on it?

I'm still debating on going to the mentor lunch or not. Anyone got any feelings either way?

Anyone got any feelings either way?I think it just depends where you are in your career and what you could potentially learn from industry reps and/or Taxi screeners. The potential is there to meet 8 or 9 decision makers of one kind or another & you have to access whether that would be of value to you. Certainly the lunch itself is well worth the price. Up to you.

Would love to go to at least 1, but will not be liquid until Fri at midnight. After buying 5 plane tickets this past week we are literally buying food from day to day as money comes in from ebay. Not sure any spots will be left by the time we have money. These tickets we in demand last year. Someone could probably scalp them......not that I'm suggesting that!!!!!!It's not "likely" you'll meet the peson who will totally change your career, but we've always gotten good information and enjoyed ourselves. It's a good way to meet other members who are at your table too.

Anyone got any feelings either way?Hey Weapon, i just called taxi for the same reason as Adrienne and they said the seats are going quickly so better act soon if you want to. they also said they'd send out an email when it is filled up!as for me i'm still debating two lunches versus one. finances are tight but i think i'm gonna fork out the extra $32, it's not every day that i have the chance to establish contact with those people and (hopefully) hand them a cd.
