André, the strings may make a difference. I'm sure that's true.But why would Steinway specify that the keys be adjusted? That's weird.In any case, I'd add another factor: we're not always playing piano sounds with our controller keyboards, and "piano" action isn't necessarily the right feel even if it's weighted.

It's proven to be very versatile in controlling different sounds. I do a fair amount of orchestral stuff and it's been great for that as well.Mazz
