Quote: I love 'em!You and me, both. I've collected quotes since I was a teenager, that's about a hundred years worth. But most of the music quotes come off the net. Type in Zappa or someone like that and you can read articles about them for hours (or days). Some of your music heros have amazing backgrounds. If fact, find a bio on Kristopherson, you won't believe everything you read about him, that man would be a legend without ever writing a song. Maybe I should go find some good quotes by him.

Quote:all the doors wide open on a spectacular July day probably in 1975 ... soaking wet ... thinking the world is a wonderful place to be... with an acoustic 12 string ... those chords just oozed out." ~ Don Felder / Eagles That's funny. I could've sworn he nicked the chords from Jethro Tull.

I'm asking for a thoughtful, genuine quote from you... And you can't say "Hookstown sucks"...Gottcha Bud...

I love it when someone asks for my opinions: The more knowledge and experience you have the more screwups and blunders you have to tell stories about.~ Drew

Oh, that one could be a thread of its own...Stage mishaps...As I finished playing through the rhythm part in this song, going into the guitar solo... I cranked the volume, tromped on my trusty EH Small Stone and...Dead air happened...Stomped again and again... Nothing... It was dead. So I grabbed the mic and sang the lead, mimicking the sound of the guitar... That incident supplied joke fodder in the practice room for 3 months or so... But we sold lots of tapes that night... I was vindicated and licked my wounds with pride...

I would have liked to have seen that one. Maybe one day you can do your guitar-lead singing for us.
