There was a funny quote by Bob Dillon about " folk music is just a bunch of fat people singing."

It always makes me laugh whenever I see old footage of the Carpenters. Very often the camera would start off with a closeup of Karen singing. Then it would zoom out and she's drumming at the same time!! It's such a contradiction to see this girl with such a sweet laid back voice drumming to these great songs that it cracks me up every time! Apparently she used to cut her drums and vocals at the same time. Very impressive if that's true.

Good 'ol Hunter. I'll never forget seeing him being interviewed by Conan O'Brien. He would only do the interview if certain conditions were fulfilled. So it took place in the middle of the (Nevada?) desert in searing heat. There was an outdoor cocktail bar set up with a bartender in tuxedo and a temporary firing range with an array of firearms. The chaps sipped drinks while trying out the weapons. The most frightening part came when Hunter was firing off the Gatling gun... Ridiculous!
