Correct. The name doesn't solve the problem. It always gets back to "call Taxi" if you want to get the problem solved. Speaking of which... aren't we on the third day of the "call Taxi" suggestion?

Re: N.Y. Library Thread Removed ? Moved ?
I received a phone call at 10:30 last night from XYZ Producers regarding this situation. She said that she has moved to another State, even though she was calling from the 212 area code, she said that she had been crazy busy and hasn't replied to anyones calls (since August 29th ? when this whole thing started ? Really ?) Also, she claims to be puzzled that the registered letters were refused. Twice. I'm not positive on the ins & outs of the postal system, but, a registered letter can only be refused by the person it's registered to ? Ignoring the fact that it should be automatically forwarded to the new address. No ?Anyway, she said that she'd be glad to release the compositions in question, so, let's see if that happens. I will keep you all posted.

Of course, it is moot since she did agree to give you your song back, so that's all that matters. How did you leave it? Was she going to get back to you with written confirmation? What you could do (unless she said she was sending you something, then give her some time) is send a non-registered letter to the new address as confirmation of your rights being returned. Keep it simple- a few sentences. Include a SASE and ask her to sign the letter and mail it back. That makes everything as easy as possible for her. She doesn't have to go sign for something at the post office and the SASE is right there. (You may be angry and not feel like making it easy for her, but it's the end result that matters).Good luck! I hope taxi's intervention helped. Casey
