Re: Not Lovin' The Lemon
Hey Mojo,
I've been away from the boards for awhile. It was the older version the last time I was active. I find the new format a bit cluttered looking. Though I must say that I enjoy the new value added Forum. Not only can I get great feedback from my peers, I can also get longer and harder erections and even find a girl for tonight....though my girlfriend says that i'll need to if I take advantage of that offer!
I called today and hear they are working hard on cleaning out the bugs. I'm sure that it is no easy task to fine tune a machine like this! The color change is ....invigorating!

The forum "skin" should be configurable and saved in the user profile.. guest gets the default..
Not sure if this the norm for other forums, I dont use them, but a lot of the apps I've working on, as well as used, allow this by having multiple Cascading Style Sheets to choose from.

The bars separating the posts are a good bit lighter than yesterday, but you can still see the original color, if you scroll all the way down. I prefer the Taxi (checker cab shade) to the lemon. That is all.

Yeah, adding black to yellow gives you a muddy, greenish gray yellow on the dividing bars.
I'm glad they are trying.
But the true Taxi yellow is more pleasing to me than this greenish gray yellow that we have at the moment.

Re: Not Lovin' The Lemon
Greetings Lemon haters
We've had a ton of problems with this forum software. It's FAR more complicated than one can imagine. While our PhD. from USC was trying to get to the bottom of the Guest posting issues, the forum decided to re-incorporate some of the old theme colors.
I've spent enough money on these issues to buy a decent used car at this point.... not kidding!
We have run these issues by experts on the top forums for phpbb forums and nobody has been able to offer a solution that has worked. We are now reinstalling it from scratch on a QA server so we don't interrupt service on this forum. Hopefully, re-building it from scratch will enable us to get rid of spam, guest posts, ugly colors and enable our admin control panel clicks to actually DO something. We ARE clicking the right things, but the buttons don't do $#i+!!!!!!!!
We are fully aware of these issues and working hard to resolve them. Please be patient.
thanks,
Michael

At least the buttons "View new posts" and View your posts" work now, so I'm a happy camper. Who cares what color it is. I'm color blind anyway! All I want is the info and now I can get it. Thanks!

Michael,
Many thanks for your efforts, and for keeping us posted on the great effort you are making to fix things.
It's much appreciated.
