No problems Case, trying to help...... I with you on the different sub genres of punk (BTW Sex Pistols doing "My Way" is one f the best punk covers of all times) but a lot of times the lyrics have a touch of irrevelance.... a playful in your face aspect, the ones here as you pointed out go more 60's R&R..... though I'm having a second listen now and it's not that far off, a little tweak here or there and you'll be there... good job on the music B-flat.... have a good one.... GeoQuote: ...PS Later edit: You really got me thinking about some of the lyrics and some changes that might help. For example, maybe nix the use of "baby" in verse 1, especially "C'mon baby"... And "play our songs" in V2 is a bit wimpy for punk, something tougher would be better... "There's a new sound" has bothered me a bit because the sound here isn't very new, though that might be overanalyzing... I could change:There's a new soundAnd it's comin' from heretoThe suits are comin' To put the money right hereIn my earliest version I had "put the money right here"... Some thoughts...
