ONOFFON's SSP of the Day is our inclusion in the playlist of BUZZ Radio -"Spectrum/BUZZ Radio here... Sorry it took so long to get to you, but we have been busy. Anyways, we have added your tune "Mardi Gras" to our rotation. If at anytime you would like to change the song in the rotation, just let us know and send it to us in 128 MP3 format BUZZRadio, located at www.buzzradio.net, broadcasts 24/7 on Live365.com. Our station is charted by RadioWaveMonitor which reports to Billboard and R&R."Well... it seems to me that can't be a bad thing... Thanks to BUZZ Radio for giving us airplay...

Okay - the ONOFFON SSP of the Day is an interview I conducted with none other than - the International Online Music Magazine. Yeah - I know - I'm posting a lot of stuff from their site right now - but I can't help it if they absolutely love our music - here's link and their preface - International Online Music InterviewsOnOffOn Interview - April 2005http://www.dgmpublishing.com/IOM/InterviewsOnOffOn.htm"Elley Wilson first introduced me to Von Babasin and OnOffOn, his late father Harry, and a whole new world of Progressive Jazz, Rock and Blues fusion back in December 2004. I remember vividly, the startled and enthusiastic glare she carried around the office for weeks after.. like it was ten minutes ago! Although I was completely overwhelmed with the MP3 versions of the music these guys had put together, it wasn't really until I got to review the album 'Your Mind', that I was well and truly vaccinated and made subsequently immune from anything I had previously heard in this treasure chest of a genre. The thing is, for me and the rest of the planet, we now have something completely astonishing in our midst and to find out more about this incredibly accomplished 'purveyor of excellence' it was necessary to drag Von over the border to answer for OnOffOn's mortal sins..."The more that this kind of stuff happens for us - the more I truly believe that it's only a matter of time...

Today's ONOFFON SSP of the Day is a very nice review of our song, "Shadowglass", a sultry little number with the lead played on alto flute. This is posted on the SoundClick BBs -ONOFFON - "Shadowglass"reviewed by Gordon Tyrrall"Hi Von, Beautiful music from the word go. Alternating bars of 5/4, 3/4, and 4/4, in this instrumental played mainly on flute. I'm a flute and guitar player myself so I was bound to find this interesting - tho I dont play in this style. The guitar, even in its accompanying role is masterly. I would place this piece in the genre of jazz, but it avoids the bane of a much of this kind of music for me, where, at the drop of a hat, the players go bananas showing off their techniques to no purpose. Even people like Pat Metheny are guilty of this sometimes. Here the melody shines through. There is a sense of control here, but there are also flights of fancy - in the guitar solo, for example. Cant take anything away from this - lovely! gordon"My wife has always said that this tune should be the next James Bond theme - I have to admit, it would fit perfectly... thanks to Gordon for the excellent words...

The ONOFFON SSP of the Day is an update on the Artist of the Year voting over at the International Online Music Magazine - this is what they said -"oooooooohhhhhh wouldn't you like to know where the current votes are??? OK I'll tell yaaaaaa... OnOffOn and Symphony in DeMeanor and and and Shegalla, and and Nige and Trev annnnd Karmic Brick and and Quantum Kids are doing well and with only four days to go.... my guess it's that it's going to be one of these immeasurably talented favourites!!!"It's getting down to the nitty gritty - I'm very excited that we seem to be holding our own - you've got to realize, it's so rare that a prog jazz rock fusion band is even in the running in this kind of award... wish us luck...
