I often wonder if you are putting us on and laughing at your own private joke. If you were serious about this deal sounding "interesting," what about it sounds that way to you? Just curious.

Richard

I would be interested about the specifics of the deal. On the face of it, the deal sounds scary because people are not used to it. But the deal could have positive or neutral consequences. I don't know because I do not have enough info about the deal.

People around here seem to freak out over my comments a little too much. That only means one thing......

.
Then why not say that in the first place? :o

I think the reason people don't trust you is that you just drop these little pat phrases without any clarification on why you would make that statement in the first place. Then you end up having to come back and explain and defend yourself. IMO your communication chops could use a little tune up, at least as far as this forum is concerned.

You could always find another forum where people speak in short meaningless phrases, that might fit you better. (hint hint)

Just my 2c.

DesireInspires,
To give you the benefit of the doubt, I suspect you just like to play devil's advocate on some of these topics, which isn't necessarily a bad thing - it sometimes helps us think outside the box.

However intentional or not, you do sometimes come off as a bit of a troll in here, i.e., just jumping in to tick people off and/or "push their buttons". Seems to me that you kinda enjoy that.

A deal like this definitely "sounds interesting" for at least the publisher/library.
