Thanks all for Ur suggestions... Matto, what U mentioned half seriously got me thinking outta the box =)here's a simple solution I made with strings & tape:Hand-made KIK vid:

Here's a pic diagram of the whole setup... Drummers, did I miss out anything??The Roland E16 is midi-ed out to the Axiom 25 above it & the Axiom is usb-ed to the Macbook...Axiom 25 controls the snares, hi-hats, rides, toms & crashes on Addictive Drmz in Logic which is rewired to Reason whereby the Roland E16 triggers the Kicks thru bus 4 on the NNXT sampler...One more thing I might do later is tie another string to either play double kicks or activate open/close hi-hats...-Kel

You should be able to open and close the hihat with the expression pedal; AD is designed to work with pads kits. Check the manual and remap expression or volume to whatever AD uses for open/close.
