THANKS, MICHAEL!It was great talking to you again, and a special thanks for turning me on to the Apogee panel. That ONE interface is a complete mind-blower! It was truly astonishing what can be invented these days that is so powerful and cost-effective.And it was great seeing and meeting all the people there. I'm sorry I never found BigBlue, 'cause his presence can't be missed! But I did quickly meet Squids, and was sorry we didn't have a conversation in our native Cajun dialect. And meeting Suz Doyle: She's every bit as nice as on this Forum, and a real hoot! Suz's creative touch: Her calling card is in the form of a chocolate bar! It's too bad that the clique didn't have the opportunity to see my sloppy rendition of my song on Saturday night in the cool auditorium with the Bose PA system. I did my best, but that darn piano had action that was twice as stiff as an acoustic grand! Shoulda done a guitar song after all, but hey ---And thanks to Mazz for not sneezing on me --- hope you're feeling better!I forgot my camera on Friday, but Saturday I snapped a few shots:TEDSINGINGFOX, SQUIDS, & HUMMINGBIRD:CASEY & REBEKAH ANN:ME & STEVE B. :Thanks again, Michael!Ern

To Michael, staff, faculty, volunteers, and all you wonderful new friends:All I know is that I come home with something great after every rally and this year was definitely the best for me!Far from having made it to every class in the 5 rallies I've managed to attend, I can say I have always gotten a lot out of them but can't compare this year to others. I did especially love the panels of forum members. For me, this year the networking was fantastic and I thank all of you who offered your support so freely. Joining the Forum was the best move I ever made before the RR. Now that I'm home, I can't wait to see how much I can accomplish from what I learned this year.Thank you Michael for putting this great idea of yours to work for all of us. Bette

Bette, it was great meeting you. Glad Suz could cover for me so fabulously, I was about to fall down (and headed straight to my room as all y'all headed up to the open mic). LOVED your song!

I so enjoyed your sense of humor and humanity. Thanks for the entertaining 2 hours!

Hi Michael, Rick Hays here. I just wanted to say thank you for the honor to be a part of your team for my first ever Taxi Road Rally. Volunteering and helping on the sound and stage was easy. I was just kind of pulled along in my passion, and the things I learned...well, I just pray that I can do justice and return the gift of knowledge with the gift of great music. I will retire next year from Active Duty in the Air Force after 20 years. Now it is my turn hone my craft and write the music that I love. All future success to youRespectfullyRick Hays

Thank you for your service, Rick. Only a few know what you've given up, so that we can be safe and free; I hope you know that you've made a very real difference, happy Veterans' Day!
