Got up a little while ago... I left my cell phone on during the night in case someone home needed to reach me easily... darn east coaster folks back home... first a call at 4:30AM PST and the 6:00 AM PST.... Oh well, they have free Starbucks in the room...I guess it would be a good idea to get some clothes on and get some breakfast (too much info? )...BTW, if you come, cheap meals are at the internet cafe 1 block away... reasonable breakfast, lunch, or dinner... It you eat at the hotel, ask first what the loan interest rate is ... Casey

CaseyGroan... after driving 8 hours, the sight of a registration line that wrapped outside the building and out into the parking garage almost made me say "fu%$ it" and head to my hotel. Fortunately the line moved pretty fast... took maybe 45 minutes... but makes you wonder why they don't just mail you your badge. Still gotta say that the Rally hype seems a bit overblown, but I'll try to keep an open mind. Certainly there are some good courses offered, and that Michael does all this out-of-pocket is pretty amazing. Somehow though standing in line with hundreds of other sheep-- for a chance that someone important might actually WANT to listen to one of my CDs-- seems a bit pointless as a career move. I'm really just going to meet some nice folks and learn something from the seminars. Already got to meet wild man Warren Heins, so that's awesome. Trolled the bar a time or two but didn't see anybody else I recognized from their avatar.Cam
