I like this song a lot, good idea and production. Don't know what the listing is about so can't really comment there, but the song is cool.BTW I heard a little something at the end of the clip that you might want to clean up-

Fun tune boys! I dig this vibe a lot and this would make for a great track on an album that was filled with high tempo punk stuff, nice change of pace. On its own, I was looking for the end at just past the 2 minute mark, just felt like it needed to finish that all but thats coming from a guy who had nothing but drums for over 40 seconds in the intro of his last tune! I found the acoustic just a touch loud but all in all this is a cool tune but sounds like a demo, but what the heck thats punk!
Music is like oxygen, you can live without it but not for very long...

I like it! The verse is catchy and hooks you in. I kept wanting to hear the chorus go somewhere else. Different chords and a little more melody maybe? As is I don't know if it's catchy enough for a taxi listing but great album track. eo.

I hear the modern/commercial punk of Greenday comming right thru..... particularily with the direction Billy joe has gone lately, ( a bit light ) ... I think this song is perfectly on track with great potential... if thats the track you intended to be on...... Would be cool to flesh out the chorus a bit more as EO suggested.... But always cool to have a striped down tune like this on your CD or set list ( plus rest of the band gets to go pee! ) Chris

CoolKinda don't worry be happy. The song is a keeper. You might want to make a track of the first 15 seconds and it extend it to 30 sec. Would be great for a tv comercial. Especially with the whistle. (lost art)Paul

I liked this song a lot , though not in my genre. It was catchy, and light, I left feeling good . Can't think of any thing to improve off the top of my head. Oh yeah one thing I would like to be able to listen and understand the words a little better but often in music understanding the words is optional ie Kurt Cobain I think for this genre you are right on.

The whistling is probably not giving a current sounding feel-- maybe that's just me.From a pure songwriting point of view, there isn't musical differentiation in the chorus-- same chords, similar melody. Now that does work in some situations especially if it's a film/TV "a la" and it fits the artist-- all depends on your target.POST-EDIT: I just read your bio and see you are a band, playing gigs and building a fan base. Nothing said here really matters if things are going well that way. When you are an artist, if you draw fans and sell CDs, the advice that applies to songwriters for other artists and film/TV doesn't apply to you. Do what works! Please let us know what your target & goal (listing text?) for the song. That will help get you better feedback. It might be a killer for one listing but not at all good for another.Best, Casey

Agree with Casey... parts of it have cool vibe and would be good for TV commercials.Judging as a complete song, it is kinda linear and doesn't go anywhere dynamically or melodically.Key is getting the right fit.Vocal could come up in the mix for my taste.Hope this helpsDerek
