Mcanty did you enjoy the song or the production/engineering or both? You are never out of your area!Your area is you!And that is valid.Rip into the weak areas! And what did you like.Did you enjoy this more or less than what you hear on the radio? It will go under the knife, what would you spare?

JD,Great production--got the Nashville sound.I'm going right to the lyrics/melody in the chorus (which I see you are working on). I like the basic story idea but don't think the essence of Elvis was, "Hey world, look at me;" it was both simpler and more complex than that. And listening to your melody, I don't picture anybody curling their lip, snarling, popping pills, making beach movies, and swinging their hips with girls screaming. Musically, Elvis wasn't really country/country; he was more gospel/rockabilly/country, so something with that vibe might be a better musical match.Hope this helps!Vince

Thanks Ideasinteresting how people view it.The idea is that we have a desire to be noticed. Thats how our genes got this far.Elvis impersonators do their thing because thay want to be noticed. Basically we are all "show men" and Elvis was the biggest showman IMHO so I choose him.Its about the desire to be a show man not about actually wanting to be Elvis. Thanks for your input.
