Re: An Evil EPIC Tale (added HORNS)

My advice is to send the first version, maybe not to this particular listing, but some other industrial drama listing?! Save this last one until you get better orchestra sounds, but you can always send it in anyway, who knows? Another advice: Never quantize strings, woodwind and brass. If you do that, the natural decay/sustain might vanish, and you get strange cut offs. If you play it live, it will sound better. A natural orchestra is never quantized.

Kel, this is EXCELLENT! I just have one thing to tell you: Your talent exceeds your software. You need something better!

Okay listening now...nice use of panning. Again this is so much reminiscent of computer game soundtracks. If this played in the background as I was fighting zombies or something I would kack my pants!!!!Great for that sort of thing. Not sure for tv if I am honest? But difficult to judge without pictures in front of me.Good sound though.Shawn

WOW!!! You have been busy since I checked this out last. I love it! I would definitely send it in to the epic orchestral listing. Thanks for letting me do the violins. Very cool!

Wow.This makes me want to make a movie, just so I could use this in the furious, brooding, driving-fast-down-a-wet-windy-highway-at-night scene.... And I don't even know HOW to make a movie. Dilemma.Echo what everyone else said. Outstanding.g

Thank U so much Lyricboy... This means a Gr8 deal to me, what U said... as it's my first shot at writing for Film...In the beginning, this track was far from Orchestral but Thanks to Everyone's Awesome feedback & help, it's becometh much closer I believe...I have submitted these 2 tracks to the listing & now just have to wait & see what happens... All fingers & toes crossed -Kel
