Hey BillG!Don't feel too bad boss. I'm from the same village, so you're in good company! I got alot goin' on too, and it all seems ta' come swarmin' down on ya', all at once. It sucks, but ya' gotta keep on fightin'! Like the tune. Can understand where the inspiration comes from. It's slightly different from your average "BillG" tune, but that's understandable. Keep goin' bub! Things'll get better! They always do!!ibanez468

Bill, I'm in the "I like it section". One thing I hear is the piano panned right that I hear needing pushed up in the mix, it seems to carry a I,IV,I pattern that I think would bring some more to the verses ( could just be the voices in my head but I also could hear it a s a I,IV,V riff as well)Good luck

BillI like this - reminds me of Tom Petty/Travelling Wilbury's which is NO bad thing!Like the harmony in the chorus. To my ears this is pretty much there. I can't knock this song. The chord changes make me want to keep listening.Excellent song.Shawn

I agree with Shawn, it does remind me of Tom Petty, which is a compliment...

Listening now:long introlove the contrast of the vocal against the "ticky" tracksfun and quirkyLOVE the lyrics in the first two versesconfused about rhyme scheme... "blessings/wallet" need to listen again. stuck out.LOVE the hookOther verses great.COOL!!!Looking back at chorus, "count my blessings" is a nice sentiment, but stuck out for some reason to me.Hope this helps and THANKS for sharing it.Derek

Hey Bill, I liked this when I heard it when it was new and on your site. As a matter of fact I saved it as a favorite. Great lyric and a real cool original sound. Can't believe you say no one liked it.
