hey, cam, warren, matt - thanks for responding! i wonder if i could take the "island" out of this song...if it would fly as an uptempo tune sung by some "devil may care" singer like some of the Texas artists? but yeah, you know what, i agree...i think the song is decently-crafted, but nothing that just stands out as incredible. but what do they say...it's one song closer to "the one", right? that's my hope, anyway. but really, everyone, thanks so much for your input! it's such a help!erin
