AMP and tt, THANKS for the listen and encouraging reviews... The v/ch contrast all started with the verse in this song, in fact it was the decending chord progression with the low backing vocal that set the stage for the song. The natural response to the verse structure was the big chorus, it just had to go that way if you know what I mean. Oh the "whip of the lash" line was pretty cheeking in retropect, it was just "there" so I took it. After I had to think several times about pulling it as it feels pretty "out of the box" and I really wanted to try and keep this one as commercial as possible... ;-) wta

William, I like this piece...very good...it's dark and moody, just the kind of stuff that grabs me. The cymbal does distract a bit, but if you can get that fixed, you got a keeper.

Very cool song. I love the chorus. I'm not hearing the cymbal everyone's talking about so I must be listening to a fix.

Thanks Billy... I"m working on having a developing chorus at this point, no major changes just some stuff with backing vox. I'm also doing more to see the drum track develop more from start to finish. I'm getting there. I'm a fan of that chorus too, I like how Matt puts it, it comes out and kicks ya in the gnards... Mmm, I'm still working on the updates so I didn't change it... They are panned left about 70 or so and distant to a certain degree.

WTA,Great start on this one. I'd fatten up the lower end - work out the drums - would love to hear more bass drum in the chorus - the seperation in the cymbals is a bit distracting . Give it a really cool ending ala Peter Gabriel. This one's a keeper in my book.Kitz

kitz, Peter G is a genius! I'd love to do anything a la him... I intentionally left the bottom end out of the verses to open up room for the low backing vocal which is playing a big part in setting the mood for the song. There is alot going on in the chorus so making room for the kick is kicking my backside but I hear what your saying and agree the kick could be more previlent... Thanks for your help mate! ;-) wta

Wow!! Incredible sound!!! I'm smilin big time!!! On my 3rd listen!!I hear the percussion and rhythm in the background as raindrops. One suggestion - end it like it started without vocals. Maybe just a few bars of perc to get it back down and emphasize the rain - then poof! It's gone. Kind of like Bico (PeterG) - I don't know... Just my 2 cents.Great Progress!!Kitz

Ya Kitz, I hear that ending you're talking bout, Bico is a brilliant song... Yes that is very much worth a try... Cheers! '-) wta
