Re: The Song I Didn't Write
Perry and Claire:I love collaborations especially if both people (or more) have that trust that allows them to play to each other's strengths. I think this song will get both of you the attention you've worked so hard for. I know you won't be making any changes and really, I wouldn't either, it's good enough to get you to the guys you hope will hear it and record it. Congratulations on a job well done. The demo is very well produced, btw. Claire, you did a wonderful job! I enjoyed reading your struggles to post the link too. Had the same problem myself the first time I tried posting a link and it brought back some fine memories. Thanks so much for the smile.

? My security detail advises me that I should not announce publicly where I will be and when at the Rally , however, although I am not a drinker, I would be happy to buy a few for you, Cam and Warren, while I sip a Diet Coke. So, if you want, PM me and we can figure out a place to meet up, if you will have the time. And thanks for the listen and comments. By the way, I just wanted to mention that I listen to a lot of songs here, but I am generally hesitant to comment because I don't want to encourage or discourage anyone in the wrong direction and I just don't think I know enough to be objective about what is good or needs work. I know what I like and what I don't, but I am not sure that means anything. -Perry

TRUST ME, we'd all be reading about it the papers the next day!! come to the lounge, i'll by you a coke, etc. i've always been supportive of you man....so have many others. NOBODY is gunna say shit to you one way or the other--trust me!! HELL IM GOING, and i aint afraid! i'm more embarrassed that 1/2 the folks don't like my tunes, or that i'm not very taxi successful--now that is REAL FEAR FOR ME my friend...and i have panic disorder and do NOT like to fly--so do NOT be wary of anybody at taxi man. i look forward to meeting you!warren heinI find people are different on the internet anyway....it's the Wizard of Oz effect...you have more nerve to say things to people behind the screen that you wouldn't in real life....so behind that screen of Oz, is a timid old guy. Y'all have fun at the Rally...btw, Perry and Claire, another congrats for getting your song as far as a publisher. That's fantastic.
