Really cool song, Chits and BillG. Very raw and perfect prosidy to go along with the lyrics and the feel of the whole piece. A well deserved forward.Next?....Ted

Quote:Chits,When you have a co-writer and you are BOTH on Taxi..how do you handle submissions? LOL..I'm headed to Nashville in the morning to record 4 new songs...one of them is co-written with my brother...he's on Taxi too..Any thoughts?JamieHey, Jamei It just depends. Sometimes, co-writers will want to submit to the same listing to double their efforts (I guess this is legit) and other times, co-writers will correspond with each other to make sure their efforts aren't duplicated and that they submit to different listings. And if you're talking about the psychological component of it all, well, it's not easy when you have to tell a co-writer the piece wasn't forwarded, and vice versa on their end as well. But it all works out in the end. I'm thinking this is what you mean. And of course, since your brother is a TAXI member, it's okay to list him as the co-writer on your submission, and vice versa with him as well. Wow, that's cool about Nashville....let us know how that turns out!

Thanks Ted and AJ! Your kind words are much appreciated! Hope there will be a next one, Ted. And AJ, maybe you'll still sing the song live.

Quote:LOL, Raags....cute moniker (and pun) there, and thanks. Yeah, I'm always excited to hear about co-writes within the TAXI community-- what fun inspirations those are! I'm so glad you two got this forward, and I can't wait to read a future post for the great deals you landed!! Quote:Oh no! That is SOOOO bad it's awesome. …WAAAY worse… Someday I want to go to a pun convention (because I think it'd be a lot of pun). Quote:Now that's VERY PUNNY!! Okay you two, now you got me started, and all in celebration of Chitts and Bill! You know, in many parts of India the "P" is actually pronounced more like an "F". So you have to be careful when you invite me to your pfarty and tell me to pF^cker up for a kiss! Raags

Here it is if you want a listen since you love Country!http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ream=1Okay, my critique. Last week, I listened to "In My Dreams" and "On Perfect Wings" and I was VERY impressed, but I didn't get a chance to listen to "Country In Your Soul." I like this the best so far! Your voice is just fantastic. You mention, Reba, Tanya, etc....but I'm old enough to remember Barbara Mandrell, and you remind me so much of her....I just loved her voice. "Country In Your Soul" is the kind of country I like.....very traditional, but yet, neo-traditional too. Hey, have you thought about submitting this (maybe you already have) to the Gretchen Wilson listing? I think you'd really stand a good chance with "Country In Your Soul." It's great! Compliments to JK too. I am submitting 'White Carnations On the Bed" to the Gretchen Wilson listing myself. BTW, I am on my old laptop....my new laptop is not able to access TAXI links, (and Lord, that's what I bought it for) so my husband repaired this one for now....don't know how long it will be up and running before crashing again, but I can listen to a few pieces every now and then, provided it doesn't have a major nervous breakdown. I felt bad about not being able to listen to other's music here, so I had him repair it best as he could.

TAXI really has provided a great service with this message board....they should charge extra for the networking we get to do here.

If they only knew... And I just realized I was writing "chitts" instead of "chits"-- sorry about that. Casey made me do it.
