Mike. I am coveting big time. I have a line 6 amp. It basically sucks. All those modeling channels and none of them great. I was looking at a Marshall JCM 2000. Supposed to be very close to the old ones. Still doing the research. Was doing some Boston the other night and my wife was stomping her foot on the floor in protest. Went upstairs and she had the TV cranked to 50 and still couldn't hear her HGTV. Just shook her head. Got a gibson ES 335 and a PRS 24. Both very nice. later Paul

hi there--i thought pearl jam at first as well, and then after the solo that starts at around :46--which by the way is right on--turn it up a bit!! and again at 1:49 on through IMHO....no expert on this genre (or any other) but i really liked it

Maybe I was projecting what I could imagine in my head. But a voice like his with a similar syling approach to melody would make this peice a grand song.Good luck with it mate.ZOltan

Hey nice groove. The syncopation is very catchy as is the intro. Sounds like a mix of Tool and Korn with Metallica thrown in. Good luck with it.Peace - MoG

hey Mike, your tune sounds good man! Definitely captured the Tool vibe. What did your other tunes sound like? I submitted two for this listing myself. Here are the links, which I think are suffering from the same "lo-fi" fate as everyone else.1) The Curse of Daylight - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... &stream=12) Dark and Overcast - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ream=1Best of luck with your submissions!- Barry

Hey BigBlue..definately hit the Killswitch Engage vibe. I like how you mimic the 2 guitarist style. Tight riffs, sounds really cool. This lo-fi thing sucks!!here are the other 2 I submittedHeart of Steelhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=1002 ... m=trueWhat Are You Hidinghttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=1091 ... m=truegood luckMike

Yes, this lo-fi thing does suck! I'm digging the Heart of Steel track. Love the "squeals" you were getting on the low strings. Your drums are tight. What type of recording environment are you in? Pro Tools? Cubase? Nuendo? Do you do your mixing inside your DAW or on a console?
