Hi, here is a new version 4 of Fragile. Please take a listen and let us know your thoughts at this stage. We have tried to address many of the suggestions, and appreciate your input. Re: VER4 (more downbeat) - for HOMELESS listing Fe
After my first few listens to Version 4, I think this is sounding pretty darn good. It feels less upbeat, more fitting of the lyric, and only slightly less 'hooky' I'd say. A good compromise. We'd still like to make the lyric change as pointed out by Geo, but since that is pretty minor, it may have to wait. Tell us what you think. Can't thank you guys enough.Dean

Re: VER4 (more downbeat) - for HOMELESS listing Fe
hey, this was a message from Hummingbird.Hi Lee - I did listen to the last version and I thought it is sounding good! The change on the bridge made it stronger, in my opinion. I still find the vocals a tad dry for my ears, but that could be personal preference. I'd keep this mix, but produce another one with the lead vocals back a notch & compare the two.

Re: VER4 (more downbeat) - for HOMELESS listing Fe
After re-reading the listing...I can see where it might've been kind of difficult to come up with something that it demanded. A song about the homeless and everything that could've led to them being that way...and it had to be mid to uptempo. Seems like something like that would kind of demand a slower more solemn kind of feel.I really like what you both have done with it and I think it matches the listing. Here's something, I was at the market today and as I was walking down the aisles, out of nowhere, I started humming the chorus!Best of luck!

LC,It is an interesting point you make about tempo. Thanks for all your input and staying with us through several versions. Your feedback was very helpful. We might have ignored Vikki and her 'too happy' comment, because we thought we'd already addressed that and 'fixed' it, but then you came in and seconded her opinion .. that's when I emailed Lee and said .. we better re-think.Love that the chorus stuck with you! That's gratifying to hear!Dean
