hello perry--just checked out this site again and found that i forgot that i was on this "thread." i want to thank you, belatedly, for your comments on my tunes. you are quite accurate--unfortunately--(insert smiley face) re: both tunes sound a bit dated, old-fashioned, etc. THAT IS EXACTLY what the screeners have said, though i keep submitting to CONTEMPORARY, and they say to submit them to neo-traditional, which i now have been--that's more than half the trick, once you have a good/great/fantastic tune--finding the right "pitch." anyway, thanks a bunch, i guess i should check these boards more often, but ....we'll see what happens. all the best, and much luck to you!heinsite out
