Taxi say this platinum artist has tuning issues?

The vocal is pretty mediocre and has some little pitch issues more related to being tentative, I think. The piano sounds terrible; if they wanted a retro vibe, they should have use a spinet sample; that would have been cool but Rhodes would have been far better than acoustic for retro.

this does not sound like something matt nathanson or howie day would sing.. being a fan and cosumer of both of them..they're also songwriters and could write this song themselves

its a dope song. He's definitely on key. He uses a lot of vibrato when he sings. But he's on key for sure. Im my opinion the production is a bit dated but it scares me that the same person that critiqued that song may critique one of mine.

Don't count what people have said, rather take the (what you term negative) comments and try and learn and take in what they're saying. No-ONE and I mean NO-ONE here is trying to bring you down or say that this song ain't worth the time, rather they are trying to help you take it or send it in the right direction.If it ain't right, it ain't right... get on with it.
