Of course She Loves You wouldn't have made it in Nashville they weren't a country group writing country songs. That doesn't mean many of their lyrics were not conversational.

hi casey,
I'm new to the forum but I have listened to you stuff and I thought it was very strong. As for those Beatles , the stars must have really been lined up for those guys .All those great songs, those two voices ,making it with their first band at 21 and all. After listening and playing that song for many years I was shocked to find out in the book " Here,There and Everywhere" by Geoff Emerick (he was the enginneer for E.M.I who worked most of there stuff ) that Ringo sang lead on that one with John and Paul singing backgrounds. They also treated it like a throwaway song.If your a Beatle freak like me you'll love this book as it details every session from '64 on.Good Luck to you.

well I say "if you write a song and no one hears it , did you really write a song?"
