GEOKOS wrote:Wow you people Kill me !! tear a person down for the way he phrases a question ! Maybe you should look at those st8 freaking 8's and ask for a refund dude and suggest it to other people who are thinkng about joing taxi not to join as well . People on this fourm are rude if you dont fit in there little hitler click you get retard talk from them . I for one think you should not have to change your music for any one if you dont want to its your choice !!! If you think that the screener gave you all 8's cause he was lazy then you maybe right .. I personally dont get how a song that was recorded in a real studio should get a low score on engineering.... maybe everyone who has gotten a low score should take their music back to these studios and ask for a refund since they didn make taxi's High bar reviewings ....Like that is gonna happen ...YOu know how many studios would be out of buisness just from taxi reviews hahah Makes you think !!!! Believe me I listend to alot of peoples music on here that say they got forwarded and it sounds like plastic processed garbage nothing Original . Blah blah so speak up people lets hear your rants to this one ..As we all know how you guys like to bash people's opinions
Geokos,

This original poster is having his membership and all submission fees refunded by TAXI. TAXI is making this call for him.

If you are a TAXI member, and in your first year, you could consider doing this as well.

Based on the feelings you've expressed, you really don't like being a member of this club.

From my perspective, no one here asks people to change their music, just to change their music.

If one is frustrated by being returned, the folks on this Forum try to help them sort out the "why" of the return. (not targeted properly, production issues etc.)

If what one produces will not never fit what TAXI's clients are looking for, they should discontinue their membership and try other avenues to achieve success.

Regarding the recording in a "real studio", I live outside of Nashville and know people who run studios for songwriters to record their work. Many of these studios refer to their work as "polishing a turd"

Finally, calling everyone here members of a "hitler click", when the motive is to help people achieve success sooner could possibly be a slightly misguided comment. Or, at the very least not one that will help you win friends and influence people.

GEOKOS, I don't think he/she was tore down for the way they asked a question. I imagine most people join taxi believing they have what it takes to be professional at this. I for one, have been humbled several degrees from what I thought I was, and what others think I am. I don't know if this person is God's gift to music or not, in fact this person never posted any of their music, but they did immediately start on a diva rampage which is uncharacteristic of anyone I have ever known here. I think one of his/her posts might have been deleted. I think this person pursued a back assward approach, instead of putting his/her music out there and letting the masses decide how great they were, they were going to ram it down our throats how much better they were than anyone at taxi.
I don't believe I have ever bashed anyone's opinion, but I have given plenty of my own, and they sometimes agree and sometimes don't. I'm hesitant about giving advice, because I think maybe only once or twice has anyone ever taken it,lol!
I agree, I don't understand why a person would get 8's on engineering if they were recorded in a "real" studio, by a "real" engineer. If I knew
more about the "real" studio and the "real" engineer, I might. I already know how to impress myself, I just need to learn how to impress others.

Hey GEOKOS,

Just because you paid a studio, producer, etc... doesn't mean that the song will be all 10s to anyone... let alone everyone. How inexperienced does a person have to be to believe this crock of sh+t??? How many songs have you heard that came out of Major Labels, recorded in top studios that are no where near a 10??? What makes You or Lakim think that you two are immune to this when you obviously don't have the money for that level of professionalism. You two are just showing your level of inexperience. Your other comments are to the point now where I am disgusted and not even bothering with either of you after this... the rest of the crap you said... It's just too juvenile...

I am only here to become better at what I do and I try to help because that is my personality.. NOT to belong to any click. If Lakim didn't want any help and don't need any help, then WTF is he posting for, after all, no one asked him for his one-sided opinion on Taxi screeners anyway and I was just trying to tell him.. IT MIGHT NOT be the screener, MAYBE you bought a 8 level recording. And you.. aligning up with him? Did you really think this through? Are you sure you really want to burn this bridge? Are you sure you want to go down in flames with him.. someone who didn't even post the referenced song... in other words... not putting the $$$ where his mouth is. :?:

Seriously... Lakim looks pretty stupid for buying a service (Taxing Membership) and he obviously didn't even read what the whole thing is about... Not knowing about the "critiques" looks pretty bad to me... like someone is "uninformed" as best. The dang check mark is right there too when you submit. What else in life does he do blindly? Like have the wrong studio record his song?.. perhaps?. When Taxi finally got my $$$ I could have taught a history class or wrote a book on the company. ROFLAMO

Good luck dude... I think you are gonna need it,

Those who this applies to will know who they are.

Several who have posted in this thread have proven what Geokos said. Sorry to have invaded your clique of negativity. Or as Geo put it, "Hitler Clique". "Let me see your papers..." I didn't realize I was posting on a board with so many hateful, negative people with scores to settle. You people hate for no reason. Perhaps you could rid yourself of that monkey and you'd see a change in your life. If someone posts on this board with a simple question, and this is the type of response they get, I can see why the number of posters here is so low. Change the attitude and the number of participants will rise.

I KNOW it does not apply to me. The only thing I belong to on this forum is the group of people who try to be helpful. I will NEVER try to "lynch" you for your own feelings on certain matters, but I will disagree with you when I see fit and in this case, I see fit to disagree with you. NO the screeners are not infallible but they have some heavy duty credibility/success behind their names which warrants true consideration when reading their feedback. And Negativity... YOU started that negativity dude, with your original post... and if you can't see that I don't know what to say other then... one can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink.

Your assumption that Taxi screeners are wrong and you are right, is a poor assumption at best. And YES, it will get the "cyber lynch mob" after you around here, I have seen it happen before. A lot of people around here are sick of the cry babies who get the "reality check" and can't handle it!! Mainly because the screeners have helped MANY people around here. But there are always those that will defend things blindly. That is NOT me nor most of the people around here!!

You may think you wrote a very neutral statement but in reality you made it quite inflammatory by turning your nose down at ANY help and acting a bit like a premaddona. NO ONE around here cares, nor has time for anyone that is self deluded enough that they believe they are the world's gift to music, after all you had to have learned it somewhere... you weren't writing songs when you popped out of your Momma. So what makes you think you do not need to learn anymore? All professionals KNOW there is ALWAYS room for growth.

I am NOT saying you asked for it OR deserved it but you weren't very diplomatic. Try to imagine you just walked into a room with a bunch of people with in a few feet of you and then made the statements you made. I try to read all post with a Neutral Vibe because that is how I usually write... just like I am writing to you now... not mad, not angry nor upset. Just trying to be helpful. I don't want anyone to drive people off, the more people around here trying to be helpful the better for us all. But I still got that vibe (sh+t don't stink vibe) from you, even reading your post neutrally.

Also, over stating things will just make it worse. No one is exterminating an entire race around here or oppressing entire societies... using such a hated mans name so loosely to describe something will only get you into more trouble. Like I said, people will get carried away sometimes on this forum... even to the point they should be friggin' ashamed of themselves. But call things like they are.. not like you want to make them out to be... Hitler Click is completely inflammatory and will get you nowhere fast. No matter where you say it, unless you actually are at a Hitler/Nazi rally. Using that is making you two look even more immature in my eyes, whether you care or not, that is your problem, not mine. And in the end.. you look like the whiny little crybaby who got 8s instead of 10s using such obviously over stated terms to describe something... rather then going about it in a mature manner like a real professional would!!

IF you are going to be, or at least act like, a professional, I can guarantee you that you ARE WELCOME and wanted around here, even if by no one else, definitely by me!! If you want to go off and whine in a corner about the meanies on the Taxi forum... then just go do it and leave us alone so I can spend time helping people that I will not be wasting my time on. It's your choice... :geek:
