I for one think you should not have to change your music for any one if you dont want to its your choice !!! If you think that the screener gave you all 8's cause he was lazy then you maybe right .. I personally dont get how a song that was recorded in a real studio should get a low score on engineering.... maybe everyone who has gotten a low score should take their music back to these studios and ask for a refund since they didn make taxi's High bar reviewings ....Like that is gonna happen ...YOu know how many studios would be out of buisness just from taxi reviews hahah Makes you think !!!! Believe me I listend to alot of peoples music on here that say they got forwarded and it sounds like plastic processed garbage nothing Original . Blah blah so speak up people lets hear your rants to this one ..As we all know how you guys like to bash people's opinions
This original poster is having his membership and all submission fees refunded by TAXI. TAXI is making this call for him.
If you are a TAXI member, and in your first year, you could consider doing this as well.
Based on the feelings you've expressed, you really don't like being a member of this club.
From my perspective, no one here asks people to change their music, just to change their music.
If one is frustrated by being returned, the folks on this Forum try to help them sort out the "why" of the return. (not targeted properly, production issues etc.)
If what one produces will not never fit what TAXI's clients are looking for, they should discontinue their membership and try other avenues to achieve success.
Regarding the recording in a "real studio", I live outside of Nashville and know people who run studios for songwriters to record their work. Many of these studios refer to their work as "polishing a turd"
Finally, calling everyone here members of a "hitler click", when the motive is to help people achieve success sooner could possibly be a slightly misguided comment. Or, at the very least not one that will help you win friends and influence people.
