Re: Are you bringing your instrument?
I have no excuse to not bring mine...Okay, maybe some of you don't think harmonica is a real instrument, but I'm bringing 'em just the same. I'm a total noo-b! But I'm also totally excited about having joined TAXI, (finally), and going to my first Road Rally! I guess I better head over to the General Hangout section, and formally introduce myself...For those of you who don't spend any time there, I'm Stan Ruffo, and I'm coming from Vancouver, WA! I'm mostly into writing and performing blues, but so much looking forward to opening my mind and ears to everything else I'm likely to see and hear from all of you at the Road Rally. I wish you all safe travels!

Re: Are you bringing your instrument?
Hello,
I also posted on the open mic thread as well as the collaboration corner. If anyone is interested in a small band to accompany for the open mics and jam sessions I think it would be a good idea to message me as well as others to prepare. I am going to use the internet to get my bass chops up in general but I don't know about the specifics.
Sincerely,
Alan

I am sure you know this but these are informal jam sessions and no amplification is provided. I imagine your keyboard has a speaker built in.

Dorothy,
Thanks for posting this topic as I was just about to post the same question.
This is my first Road Rally but I've travelled with my acoustic before.
I'm coming in from Toronto. I'm staying at the hotel so I'm bringing my axe for sure.
Can't wait to meet everyone.

Haven't decided yet. It's not very portable but it tows nicely behind my car...

Re: Are you bringing your instrument?
Hello,
anyone flying delta and is planning on carrying on your guitar in the overhead? I usually do that with my Warwick Bass which is handmade. It's my only bass and I think it may be a good idea to bring it but the Delta restrictions are a little insane and I am not sure what they may do. When I used to travel to the gigs it wasn't a problem but now I am unsure.
Thanks,
Alan
