Another Kirk Hunter Group Buy!! at 362.. 75% off!!

Post by rnrmachine » Sat Oct 22, 2011 7:41 pm

Hey everyone,

I did a search to see if anyone had posted about it yet and I only found the old one... This group buy includes a bunch of products. I have my eyes on the new brass  I have Pop Rock strings already SO I will probably nab the brass and MAYBE if I cut into Christmas gifts... give some belated, I can upgrade to strings 2 as well.. if it goes over 300 people... 75% off would be a God send!!!

anyway here is the link on KVR forums. It's up to 90 atm and a number of people haven't signed up yet... like me they are waiting until they know they can afford where it's at before they commit.

EDIT: here is a link to a few arrangements I did with Pop Rock Strings http://forums.taxi.com/topic38264.html

YAY Kirk Hunter rules!!!!

BUMP... at 150 now... 50% off. That means Concert Brass II is only 200 buck-er-roos PLUS another 10% off if you already own ANY KH stuff. For a BRANDNEW JUST RELEASED Brass library/softsynth... that is insane. IF it hits 75% off. The cost will be under $100. WOW-eeeee LOL

Re: Another Kirk Hunter Group Buy!! at 163.. 50% off now!!!

Post by rnrmachine » Sat Oct 29, 2011 8:48 pm

Bump... at 163 now!!! and we have until Nov 25th!!! Last time he extended it a couple weeks too so ya never know...

I'm excited for everyone jumping in. I have Pop Rock strings and they sound AMAZING... and that isn't as good as Concert Strings II which has every single note where Pop Rock Strings has pitch bending on every other note to fill out the scale. I can't tell... but for those finicky A&R folks that can pick a gnat farting out of a chorus of drunken men singing Irish Folk Songs... Concert Strings II is on my radar. AFTER I get Concert Brass of course... which I already said.... just too excited I guess.

Not that I plan on doing much Orchestral... it's just too good of a deal in case I do... PLUS I have 2 projects not too far from Trans Siberian Orchestra in style that I could use this for!!! I am still determined to be successful with rock/hard rock and metal.

HAVE FUN EVERYONE!!

OH btw... I figured I would post a link to what I did with POP Rock Strings... http://forums.taxi.com/topic38264.html

At 75% off, I'd be interested in Concert Brass II just for the trumpets if they sound as good as that single demo on the KH site.

Dude, that Kirk Hunter knows wth he is doing... and these group buys he does... it's insane how much quality we can get for so little cost.

I posted a link to my humble arrangements using Pop Rock Strings.

are the studio/solo concert brass patches appropriate for non-orchestral stuff, like jazz/funk?
