Well, guess who's off to the Dr., again!! SS lawyer says I need to be rechecked from head to toe to make sure nothing was missed. As many times as I've been to this specialist or that one, if they missed something, somebody was not paying attention at all. I think I'm going to schedule our next vacation around Dr.'s appt.'s and tests. They're just so enjoyable.

Quick update.My legs have been killing me since Saturday p.m. Probably due to the dosage reduction of Interferon. But, I also thought," I've been on this stuff for 5 weeks. Should the pain still be this bad?"Well, doc says, "yep". I'll just have to deal with it unless I want the side effects back or a pain killer that would probably down a rhino. So, I'll just double my dosage of Ultram and deal. He also wasn't surprised that I've been falling and that I'm out of work because of it.But, he does want an appointment with me after he gets back from his vacation. He's talking more images. So, I'm gonna call MD Anderson tomorrow and have them send the images they took to see if that satisfies him. He needs to see if the Interferon has made any difference in my legs, especially with the pain and weakness. Hey!! a new milestone. I fell on the front steps and had no way to catch myself. For the first time, I made it all the way down . All is well, though. I landed on my head . But, now I gotta repair the front steps !!I said "Quick" update didn't I? Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yada. I'll shut-up, now. I'm hungry anyway.

Jes a heads up from moi to vous: Double up on the Ultram. Inteferon does that and it doesn't like to lay off the pain. Why suffer needlessly when you can fall down and not feel anything due to appropriate med dosages? AND keep us in stitches at the same time?Re: Eating. You prolly got the munchies. You should come over. I had brownies for breakfast. Again.

Brownies sound pretty good! Long as they ain't funny brownies ('Course that might help w the leg pain ) Ya know what I've grown fond of? Milk chocolate Ensure. Since my gut does triple gainers now and again, I keep some on hand so I don't starve.Far as eatin', I have my sister's Tia Maria cheesecake to look forward to while I'm in Columbia.

I hafta call MD Anderson tomorrow and make sure they sent the images. Here's hopin'.And, Doc's goin' on vacation, not me. Ya know, by now, with all the images they've gotten, they ought to be familiar with every atom in my anatomy.
