Got an E-Mail informing me that ECD Global Alliance will be the charity of the day at Goodsearch.com on 10/16 . I'm excited about that 'cause it means more exposure for our cause and hopefully will spur more interest and education where it is concerned.

Ophthalmologist & Time-out The ophthalmologist was very pleased today. My field of vision has improved along with my vision clarity and eye pressure. I do hate having my pupils dialated, though.Starting Saturday, I'll be giving my wonderful bride a break from me. Family is coming up to give me a ride to Columbia. Wifey will be on vacation for four days and then meet me in Columbia, where we'll spend time w/ both our families and just alone together.

Feel perty good after a trip home and Mom's good cookin'. Nothin' like it.Had a short church service followed by a great reunion and feast on Saturday afternoon, then attended a very nice service Sunday celebrating the 50th anniv. of an Episcopal church my Dad helped start. A very formal, packed service; bagpipes, drums, a new stained glass window, etc. But, very beautiful, none the less. Then we went to a nicely catered buffet and perused some old black & white photos from that time. Saw lots of old friends, and stirred up many memories. Made me miss my Dad knowing he'd be very happy at how the seeds he helped to plant have become such a big, healthy tree. Then we took off for Mom's to pack and head home. Long trip after the weekend we had!!Had an Endocrinologist appt. today, Monday. We had a good chat about leaving my current dosage of testosterone gel alone (Played games w/ the ol' prostate at the old regimen). He also has some other blood work he asked my Cancer doc to run just to keep an eye on my glands, etc..I'm in tomorrow for the twice yearly MRI and go to the Oncologist Fri. to have that read.Whew!! Busy week.

Man! I don't know what the heck's going on this week. Starting Mon. AM, our first day back after being in SC, I started waking up more tired than when I went to bed. I've been physically whooped, too . Putting one foot in front of the other's been quite an effort, and I've felt like lifting my arms is hefty labor. I keep falling asleep for 1 or 2 hr.'s at a time. I wonder if I didn't pick up a viral hitch-hiker while visiting Mom in Columbia. But, I'm on Interferon! Shouldn't be able to catch anything major.I do feel better today, though . Was actually able to take my buddy for a walk. So, hopefully, whatever's been up is taking its leave. I see my Oncologist tomorrow and will seek his opinion.

Good news, again. No change in the growth around my pituitary, and all vitals are great.

Things have been going very well over the last few weeks. 14" of snow interfered w/ our exercise routine. But, we maneuvered around it and managed to stay in shape.
