Enjoyed this one so much I had to come back again this morning :) You should get a lot of mileage out of this one, it definitely has some legs!

The only thing I could suggest after this mornings listen is to make the break/stop at 2:40 a four count, because that silence is music and it went by so fast.

Not bad when the only nit is the silence in a song ;)

I'd be interested in knowing what was used on the master bus chain, this mix is great!

Thanks all :)

@marc it's a fairly standard setup for me.

- HPF eq (to shave off the extraneous low frequencies)
- The Glue (mastering compressor)
- PSP Nitro (stereo widening)
- Nomad Factory retro EQ to soften the Digital harshness
- Limiter

Sometimes I use even more out of the box plugins in Ableton Live. The Glue is actually included in the new Live 9 which I am beta testing.

This song is pure awesome. Was smiling all the way through it and thoroughly delighted by all the twists and turns in the production. I have no constructive feedback right now. Just needed a fanboy moment.

So inspiring!!

I think this song has a lot of potential!
Very well written and contemporary!!

I have a few suggestions, try them if you'd like!

A lot of producers want the hook "the sooner the better".
You could try adding the "Woo ooo" part in the beginning (the instrumental part before verse 1).

I also think the keyboards could sound a little "rawer" as well. They are very clean now.
A lot of productions today have a rawer sound to the keys. Maybe add some distortion or tweak them somehow.
The guitars have a crunchier sound, that is what I'd like to hear on the keys as well.

This is only a suggestion, I've been trying to read what libraries/producers want for a long time and this is
what I've figured out so far.

Thanks all! We put a lot of hard work into the recording and mix of this song.
There's actually a GREAT version that Pedro did that cut the song by almost 30 seconds (which he took mostly out of the intro).
I love the edit and will post it sometime in the near future for all to hear.
Hopefully it'll be the mix that gets us a placement. :)
