Quote:before i read that book online time management wasn't such an issue but now that i've read it and implemented many of the sites and ideas into my social network, i'm just trying to keep up with it all and feeling overwhelmed. maybe i just need a refresher course The key is to create a system - and then delegate as much of that system to someone else! I teach all about this on my Artist's EDGE Membership. And if you're in the Bay Area - I'm doing a talk on Wednesday about Project Management. Don't kid yourself - Social Networking is a PROJECT!

Yeah - a great way to deal with this is to get a 'Fifth Beatle'. Often talked about, the reality is now that having an extra guy or girl who isn't in the band but who is an equal member because they deal with all the internet promotion is, I think, a viable idea.Lots of stuff about it on the net specifically for musicians about this topic. See this article from the founder of Pandora - http://www.knowthemusicbiz.com/index.ph ... rgren.html

Fifth Beatle. That's cool. I didn't click the link but maybe someone already snagged that name as their business handle.

Re: Facebook-Twitter-Myspace Juggle
We've updated our twitter backgrounds if anyone is so inclined to check them out.http://twitter.com/CarriageHousehttp:// ... sByiTALYWe spend a TON of time updating all these social networking sites. It does cut into our studio time and creativity. It's hard to go from making graphics, programming and updating sites to music and lyrics. The first part is enough to make your brain tired. Luckily at any given time there are 3 of us able to update things if need be. Maybe one day all this will pay off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Our website rebuild should be done over the weekend. Will post a link when live.
