Yeah, and the upgrade price is amazing - $149. Wow.

Niiiice... I was just looking at this, trying to figure out my approach.

I had been considering Komplete 8 Standard, but the tech specs on it say OSX 10.6 and 10.7. I'm on 10.8 (Mountain Lion, Logic 9x). Anyone know if there are issues here??

Komplete 8, or Komplete 9 Standard...???
Which should I go for??

Just jump to 9. I have 8 and will be upgrading. Komplete is very good.

I do wonder if anything from 8 will be deleted with the new version. Won't matter to those of us upgrading but it might make a difference to a first time buyer.

My mac is 10.6.8
I'm interested in Classic verb which says it's compatible with my mac ( in the general section of website ) but when you go to the purchase section
it shows the compatibility at mac 10.7 and up... :?: :? :o
I sent them an email a couple of days ago but they haven't got back yet.

I'm not ready to upgrade my Mac yet.

I have Komplete 8, so the upgrade will be 650 euros for me to Komplete 9 ultimate.
But it's worth it!

It should work with 10.6.8!?

I'm not ready to upgrade my OS either..

I'd just ordered Komplete 8 Ultimate. But Sweetwater was out of stock. A day later my rep calls and says that 9 is coming out soon. So we put my 8 order on hold. Two days later he calls again. They are taking orders for 9... no brainer... heck yeah!

Just found out from Native that it will work on 10.6.8 however they only test on 10.7 and higher.
They recommend an upgrade.
It doesn't seem that long ago when my Mac was current... :|

I highly recommend keeping the previous version of applications that you use a lot. I deleted Kontakt 3 when I upgraded to the version of Komplete that introduced Kontakt 4 and then I had to go back and edit some older projects that used Kontakt 3, which didn't open correctly because the DAW couldn't find Kontakt 3! The only way around this is to be very diligent and save your patches and multis and hope they open in the next or even the next after that version!!
