It almost sounds like a book on how to become obsessed with time management. I'm confused by the emotional and psychological aspects, I always thought people went to counseling because they have an obsessive-compulsive "disorder"?shawnzahedi wrote:Hi Wen,
From someone who shares some of your pain....
Thanks to input from CoachDebra, I read the book: "Time Management from the Inside Out" by Julie Morgenstern. I got the audio recording from the library and while jogging, listened to it. It really helped as the author not only discusses the logistics/organizational side of time management but also emotional and psychological reasons. And I think by exploring the underlying emotional and psychological reasons, we can gradually change life-long habits.
ciao,

That's great Wen! The organizational aspect is essential to a productive life. Ultimately, however, it's having the discipline & the will to plow into the work every day & get-it-done . Sounds like you're on track.wen wrote: Anyway, believe it or not, everyone who has kindly commented - I'm not spinning my wheels with organization... Since organizing/de-cluttering my studio and coming up with a basic attack plan, I've gotten more done in the last 3 days than I have in a long time. Most importantly, I did the test recordings of my instrument to see what sounds best, and that's been on the 'to do' list for quite a while. I also have a voice lesson set up to work on my problem vibrato.
