Yes, you can belong to both simultaneously.
They do not overlap in jurisdiction.
Sound Exchange takes care of Internet royalties.
And congrats on 600,000 plays, WOW!

Desire is right. I get my Internet streaming royalties from CD Baby, and they're all somewhere in the neighborhood of about .001 a play. For those of us who are math challenged, that's 1/10 of a penny.

I've never counted my Internet plays because the money is so insignificant (i'm sure it's nowhere near 600,000 but it must be somewhere in the lower couple thousand range), but with that math, 600,000 plays amounts to around $600. It's certainly something -- about double what I currently get from my TV royalties per quarter -- but yeah, that seems pretty disappointing in contrast to what you might've expected from something that by all accounts sounds like (at least an internet) "hit."
