Apols so late to this, Les — but your songs and voice do sound terrific!
If you've ever got songs that cry out for a legit FIDDLE or VIOLIN part (or for a small string arrangement) I'd love to hear form you. I can usually work pretty quickly, in any style and key.
Please email me if you'd like to hear tracks in a more Americana/roots/country vein than the tunes I've got online at quietlifemotel.com and on my TAXI page.
warm wishes,
David

Re: Seeking co-producer multi-instrumentalist to co-write wi
Having just added some of my songs to Soundcloud am disappointed with the linear format there. I've always used Soundclick and it seems much superior? Soundclick lets you do everything that Soundcloud does (that I can find at least) plus edit order and more.Kolstad wrote:Soundcloud is completely linear, what you upload last will be the first others hear.
I'm not pushing it or anything but for those of you that may use both, what am I missing with Soundcloud? It seems to be the standard site for the pros here.
Back on topic; Les, I really like your voice and material. I had posted earlier needing a singer so if you think I have any material that fits the pitches or you need backing for any of yours, I'm game. (love Bad Girls BTW! My kind of tune. Nicely produced as well!)
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken, I checked out your post and also your songs. Thanks for sharing. I listened to about 8 of them and I like blue plate special. I'm pretty busy right now, but that would be the song I'd like to sing on and possibly talk about regarding flow and how you wrote it. Is it a collaboration, or all yours right now? Your guitar playing? if so, VERY nice.
Les

Les, Thanks for the good words! Yea, all songs are my own work, written and performed in a bedroom studio. When you have the time, love to hear your input!
Thanks again,
Ken

Hi Les,
Please look out for an email I sent to your personal website regarding collaboration. If it ends up as spam, I can be reached at cpellick2@aol.com. I have a few ideas I want to run by you.
Thanks!
Cale
