What Genre/Listing would this work for? (Indie/Pop)

Remixed this one, pushing the meters rather hard as an experiment so watch your listening levels!
Not sure how to classify it and/or find a listing that would work?!?
Any help is appreciated!

Intro reminds me of "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals; that was 1989 - but genre?
So many to choose from - sounds like a mix of video game/Electro-Pop... or something.
Still liking it a year later! :? :D
Hope that helps.

I can see why, the lead synth and the rhythm crunch gtr fights over the track identity. So is it indie pop or electronic pop/ K-pop?
To me, the melody wins, so it's best as electronic pop. Maybe I would mix down the crunch gtrs a lil touch to underline that, so the synth stands out more in comparison.

The ideas that came to my head about where this could fit was manga, Disney XD type of contexts. So, electronic pop for animation, imo.

Thank you Graham and Steve! :D
I can see how it will feel more retro when I pull the guitars back!

The Disney FX reference is a good one. There is something youthful in the melody.

The heavy guitars kinda ruin the Pop vibe for me, I'd try dropping them out play the same chords on one of your synths instead to keep it consistent.

Thank you John/Ronnie/Mark!
I'm having a hard time letting go of the guitars...
Being that this mix is so harsh I'm in the middle of a remix that started out with a "Pink Noise" level mix per: topic138757.html?hilit=pink
Sounding way better, will post when it's done... reworking everything...
Again, Thank you
