Hello Everyone:

First, thank you for all the great comments on our song. This process of collaboration has been a great one for me. I do not normally work in the country music genre but lately find that my style of writing seems to match the style more than pop. It has been a real joy to work with Peter and I really am excited about where this piece of music may go. We didn't start this with any listing in mind (well, I did compose the instrumental for a listing that was returned). So since we are talking about it, what kind of listing do you all think this would be good for (I have an idea, but I would like to see what everyone else thinks, maybe something there I have not thought of. ).

Charles, I know you would like to know what genre/listings to submit this to but you and Peter have written such a positive and upbeat tune.. I think you guys have it right with, a Modern Country song.

For what it's worth - San Diego's KSON radio plays and advertises this type of genre as "New Country"; so that's where I see it fitting in.
