If you're talking about libraries, each one has different requirements. Some want 48K, some 44.1K. With that some want 16 bit, others 24 bit especially for 48K. What a lot of people do is first bounce 48K/24 bit, the highest resolution requested, and then convert outside the DAW to 48K/16, 44.1K/16, etc.bakerstreet wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 6:01 amWhat about 48Khz v 44.1Khz? As these are cues for use with video, do we bounce at 48Khz or am I getting confused over nothing?
For mp3s such as uploading to Taxi, I STRONGLY recommend only 44.1K to make mp3. Occasionally, some systems hiccup on mp3s created from 48K. So, for example, I would convert 48K/24 to 44.1K/16 and then make an mp3 from that.
Best,
