I like it! I think it's a great job of re-imagining. My take on these listings is you really want to do something different genre and style-wise with the song but keep it recognizable. I think you did that well.

Im not a big EDM guy, but I think it is very very cool - Quite an interesting take on it

What I like most about this song
I appreciate the electro take as it offers quite a different look from the original recording.

I think you could improve this song by
The melody takes some shifts that veer a bit too much away from the original. Note "as a lover and a friend" at 2:20 for reference. I would stick closer to the OG for this one.

I returned or forwarded this song because
The melody could be more true to the original for this request.

I thought the screener was a bit over-picky there but the listing did say, "(it's NOT advisable to change the lyric or melody)". It bothers me some because it was for an ad campaign and they could easily use the earlier choruses. Ads are 30-60 seconds and copy/paste works fine. The lesson learned though is don't do what a listing says is not advisable as the screener will (rightly so) follow the charter.

Is the note at around 00:36 on "get" different than the original? It sounds different to me though it could be my old ears. THAT would concern me more if it's not the same as the original.

The good news is a lot of libraries are looking for re-imagined covers these days as they've become very popular. So there's lots of opportunities for this.
