Ha!!! Yeah, i can see that for sure... I have 10 other tracks that are being submitted, and most are not nearly this busy, so wish me luck!
I appreciate the commitment lol

I remember during one of the pitch sessions at the Rally they had all the submitted tracks up on a screen and you had an entire page of tracks you had submitted.

Go Hard Or Go Home is a good way to live!
Yeah, and not once did they draw my number!! lol

Is that a different listing from what I'm writing for: S250422GO? This mentions The Real Housewifes too.

If it is the same I have to agree that your track sounds quite busy and discoish compared to the references but what do I know, I'm a noob! It sounds great though and your playing is tight. Awesome bass action!

I've submitted one track to S250422GO and I have another one coming. Not my usual genre but fun and challenging.

Horn and drums sound off. I might be wrong. But they sound off.

I'm assuming you mean the sound of them? Sadly I only have one vst for horns and it's more of the orchestral type. Drums are maybe too full sounding and heavy? It's a real acoustic kit.

@Phuovine, its best to start your own thread if you want feedback, but I have to agree that the sound of your horns is not convincing and is going to attract negative comments from the screeners.

That's quite a submission Bradley so I hope you get a lot of tracks forwarded and the library pick them all up. Good luck to you! :) Let us know how it goes.

Thanks! That's what I thought also and I tried to make them vintage/retro sounding but the starting point was too way off from the finish. I'll learn the forum etiquette, too, sorry.

Yeah...by all means start another thread on this.... I would be interested in participating actually.. horns are the toughest thing to get away with in MIDI for sure....I struggle with them, we all do I am sure!

Hi, sorry for the hijack. I've been searching for better brass vst today but the good ones are very expensive. Any suggestions for a more mid-priced option?

As a trumpet player, I'll say I've yet to find a brass VST that sounds good for pop/funk/jazz etc.

Some of the orchestral samples are good if you are layering brass into a full orchestra, but for prominent lines in the type of more modern music you guys are talking about, it's really tough.

I'm working on drumline/marching band tracks right now and am struggling to get the sound right, and that's with me playing over the VSTs.
